About ENSTA Paris, Polytechnic Institute of Paris

The Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) is a world-renowned center of excellence in higher education and research. It brings together six leading French engineering schools: École Polytechnique, ENSTA, École des Ponts (ENPC), ENSAE Paris, Télécom Paris, and Télécom SudParis. Thanks to its status as an experimental institution, IP Paris brings together public and private institutions around common missions: training the talents of tomorrow and advancing research.
Supported by a community of 1,400 teacher-researchers divided into ten departments, the Institute offers multidisciplinary training and research projects. This approach fosters unprecedented synergies, where cutting-edge technologies enrich key fields such as physics, transportation, and social sciences. Innovation and the transfer of knowledge to the economy and society are at the heart of its mission, supported by a network of incubators and one of Europe's most dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystems.
IP Paris has 2,100 academic staff in 45 laboratories and trains 11,200 students, including 1,500 doctoral students. In collaboration with neighboring institutions and local businesses, it strengthens the links between research, training, and innovation to meet the major challenges of our time.

Visa
ETECOM 2026 will be held in Paris, France, from 26–28 October 2026. Since France is part of the Schengen Area, some participants may need a short-stay Schengen visa to attend the conference. This visa is generally used for conference and business travel for stays of up to 90 days. Authors and presenters may request an acceptance letter after their paper is accepted, and registered attendees may request an invitation/support letter for visa purposes. Please note that these letters support the application but do not guarantee visa approval, which remains at the discretion of the French consular authorities. Participants are strongly advised to check their visa requirements through the official France-Visas Visa Wizard and apply as early as possible, since applications are generally accepted up to 6 months before travel and processing times vary by country.
Visa waivers to enter the overseas territories on the grounds of nationality, where the applicant holds a visa issued by a French consulate authority with multiple entries and where the period of validity is between 6 months and 5 years, may be granted to nationals of Bahrain, Belarus, China, India, Indonesia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates.
